Once again we are blessed with the holy month of Ramadhan. The month of Taqwa, Prayers and dhikr.
However this is going to be a very challenging month for Muslims as congregation prayers in the places of worship and coming together to break fast that form the hallmark of the holy month is no longer possible.
The late night prayers and support offered to the less fortunate in the society is more difficult in this Ramadhan than anytime in history.
However as the flexibility of our religion allows, we can still observe prayers and dhikr in our homes.
This Ramadhan has actually come at a time when we have more reasons to raise up our arms to the Almighty to beg for his mercy. A time when the world is engulfed by a pandemic only him can lift.
Let's use this opportunity to pray to the Almighty Allah to safe the universe from this infectious virus.
Let’s also support the Government in containing the Coronavirus pandemic.
I wish all Muslims across the globe Ramadhan Mubarak.
Remember Allah. Read the Quran. Stay at home. Wash your hands. Keep social distance.
